Autumn: a captivating palette of colors!
In autumn, our destination transforms into a tableau of warm colors. It's the perfect time to immerse yourself in the deciduous forests, but also to taste the delights of the season, with the fruit and vegetable harvest. The panoramas are breathtaking, especially with the view of the golden mountains, while hearts warm to the rhythm of culinary festivals and Halloween parties. On the program: activities for young and old and walks in the heart of the forests where local tales and legends come to life in a mysterious and friendly atmosphere.
Winter: A Snowy Kingdom
From December to March, Haute-Savoie transforms into a snowy kingdom. Renowned ski resorts, village resorts, and large Nordic ski areas are ready to welcome winter sports enthusiasts, while winter landscape enthusiasts can enjoy snowshoeing or relaxing moments in enchanting spas and thermal baths, overlooking the mountains.
Spring: wonder awaits you...
From April to June, the region awakens under a blanket of flowers. This is the ideal time to explore the hiking trails before the summer crowds arrive. Lakes like Annecy, Lake Geneva, and Montriond, in full bloom, become ideal places for moments of calm and relaxation, as well as leisure activities like bike rides. It's also a perfect time to discover the region's cultural richness, with visits to charming villages, historic castles, and museums that tell the story of our region's history and traditions. Spring festivals, art exhibitions, and musical events complete the picture, offering a true immersion into our culture.
Summer: the excitement of the mountains and lakes
From June to September, Haute-Savoie reveals its most beautiful side. Mountain hiking is at its peak, offering spectacular panoramas of the Massifs, Valleys, and Mont Blanc. Water activities on the lakes, such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and sailing, are unmissable, and the alpine villages are adorned with vibrant colors, hosting festivals, local markets, and sporting, cultural, and gastronomic events. For cycling enthusiasts, the destination offers suitable routes, whether for mountain biking in the mountains or bike rides along the lakeshores.
